Department of Management Studies

The Department of Business Management at VEMU is designed to prepare future business leaders and entrepreneurs. Our MBA program offers a comprehensive education in business management, equipping students with the skills needed to succeed in the global market.

The department offers post graduate program in MBA (Business Management) affiliated to JNTU, Anantapur. It has an exclusive departmental library with Reference books, business manuals, and reference material on marketing, finance, human resource, economics, computers and information technology. It has several other state of the art facilities like e-classrooms, computer center, GD-rooms and a well established seminar hall.

In order to develop the innate skills of the students, everyday two hours are dedicated for seminars, team assignments, group discussions and various business and economics related activities. Students are encouraged to do regular case studies enabling them to understand the intricacies of management.

The department has well qualified and experienced faculty supported by trainers. The department adopts the right blend of practical approach in training the students for placements. Training programs on communication skills, analytical skills, presentation skills, interview skills, resume writing skills are regularly being conducted to enhance the career prospects of the students.

Industry oriented real time projects are assigned to students to understand and appreciate the linkages between management theories and business practices.

A series of Personality Development Programs are being conducted to encourage students to improve their Manager like qualities.
